Business Priorities:​

Global Business Services operates in 6 sites with 1000+ employees worldwide and growing.  Business functions within the GBS scope are Accounting-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Treasury, Management Reporting, Real Estate and Facilities Management.  Project management is a signature capability of GBS and will be a key driver to deliver cost savings to the enterprise planning and executing transformation initiatives to enable the business teams to focus on profitably growing our business.

Role Purpose: 

This role is a member of Global GBS STP organization, responsible to provide professional leadership and continuous guidance, mentoring & motivation to the Team Leaders and Analysts to drive global GBS STP strategy in collaboration with other Senior STP leads across the globe. ​

This role is responsible to demonstrate the required operational and functional capacity with the right competencies for quality & ensuring good customer service, identifying business opportunities and monitoring financial activities. ​

Working closely with the all regional GBS STP & Procurement teams, Finance Directors and Global Process Architects(s) on developing of long range of strategies plans and objectives through the identification of strategic issues and opportunity that could influence business growth and stable operations.

Business Priorities and Key Accountabilities:

This role is responsible to demonstrate the required operational and functional capacity with the right competencies for quality & ensuring good customer service, identifying business opportunities and monitoring financial activities. ​

Working closely with the all regional GBS STP & Procurement teams, Finance Directors and Global Process Architects(s) on developing of long range of strategies plans and objectives through the identification of strategic issues and opportunity that could influence business growth and stable operations.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and trusting relationship with the global business Key Stakeholders in order to ensure free flow of ideas and information across the business to drive value creations​

  • Play as an analytical role to defines potential business models in order to realize win-win opportunities and avail insightful qualitative analyses.​

  • Manage, supervise and support the GBS for operational procurement and accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to supported KC group companies in LATAM, EMEA, APAC and NA regions in accordance with the service management framework as well as global, regional and local procurement processes and guidelines while achieving a high customer satisfaction​

  • Drive standardization across regions and globally by focusing on alignment of end-to-end business process areas, system and tools​

  • Develop team strategic plan and objectives. Drive future direction of Procurement and Accounts Payable services and provides regular key initiatives status update​

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, develop solutions and drive their implementation to achieve operational excellence, cost efficiency and business excellence​

  • Developing and implementing growth strategies by expansion of Service Catalogue for the coverage of purchase-to-pay activities supported by GBS team​.

  • Establish an effective reporting system to enable monitoring of performance of the operational procurement and Accounts Payable teams and provide information to relevant parties.​

  • Close collaboration on governance and processes with GBS STP and Global Procurement teams, COE team and cross functional within GBS team.​

  • Provide feedback and reinforcement to team members regarding development needs and opportunities and secure resources to support development efforts

Main Purpose of Role:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, and strong leadership qualities, enhance GBS image and meet overall growth objectives.​

  • Support development and deployment of project management tools, standards and capabilities for the Global and Regional Business Process Management teams and customers​

  • Lead and drive the execution of GBS initiatives and transformation agenda in partnership with GBS STP teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders.​

  • Lead and drive the team to embrace GBS signature capabilities to deliver for GBS customers.​

  • Build sustainable talent pool and expertise in the subject areas while ensuring succession plan is in place within all levels in the team​

  • Strong leadership and ability to inspire and move a cross functional development in a united direction and vision.

Essential Knowledge / Experience​:

  • Degree in finance or accounting or related qualification​

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in procurement and handling accounts payable processes​

  • Minimum of 7 years team leadership experience​

  • Experience in managing migrations and process improvement projects​

  • Good command of verbal and written English. Good command of any other Asian language would be an advantage​

  • Strong interpersonal skills, management skills, influencing skills and organizational/coordination skills with ability to influence stakeholders towards common goal. ​

  • Proactive nature, and strong work ethic
