Position Summary:
Brent Schiestl, Senior Director for the Digital Creation team at Perforce is searching for a Senior Product Owner to join the team. The Senior Product Owner at Perforce will lead the product at all stages of the product lifecycle and closely partner with customers.  The Senior Product Owner will also work collaboratively with all colleagues in the Research & Development, Marketing and Sales organizations to drive product improvement and new product development, and to ensure the successful business performance of the product. 
This position will support our P4 (formerly Helix Core) brand, with a heavy emphasis on APIs, plugins, and integrations. P4 is the industry standard for endlessly scalable version control software. It securely versions all digital content - even large files - with ease. And it scales for large teams, handles 1000s of daily transactions, and delivers files quickly to remote users. Product integrations are vital to expanding the reach of the P4 platform.   

Responsibilities:

• Develop user requirements and translate them into product solutions that satisfy customers’ needs. 
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of strategies within the lifecycle of existing products. 
• Manage and enhance product quality, ensure ease of use, and continually evaluate product performance to improve functionality and delivery.
• Involved in strategic planning and contributes to the long-term vision and roadmap of the product. 
• Monitor industry trends and competitor products to ensure our offerings remain competitive and relevant.
• Mentors and supports junior Product Owners, providing guidance and ensuring alignment.
• May be required to support additional products/brands as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Willing to take risks and embrace a culture of learning. 
• Team player mentality with a customer-focused attitude. 
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of various IDEs, programming languages, CI/CD platforms, etc. is a plus.
• Prior experience as a software developer is a plus.
