Senior Production Engineer

•Production Leadership & Planning: Lead and supervise production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets, ensuring timely delivery of products.

• Process Optimization: Optimize manpower, machines, and material utilization to minimize waste, downtime, and costs.

• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control systems and procedures to ensure products meet or exceed specifications and standards.

• Continuous Improvement t:Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot issues in sheet metal fabrication, welding, and other processes to resolve bottlenecks.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, R&D, quality, maintenance, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations and improve product manufacturability.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and other regulatory compliance standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

• Mentorship & Training: Train and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and operators to develop their skills and knowledge.

• Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed production documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and present production reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Sheet Metal Expertise:

Strong hands-on knowledge of various sheet metal fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, punching, welding (MIG), and finishing.

• Process Improvement Skills:

Proficiency in production planning, process optimization, and waste reduction.

• Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, tools, and CAD software.

• Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to address technical and operational challenges.

• Leadership & Communication:

Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate effectively with other departments.

• Project Management:

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple activities to meet production deadlines.

• Educational Background:

Typically a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or a relevant Diploma.

Should have hands on ERP.
