Senior Site Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring construction work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and within budget.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Supervise and manage construction activities on site in accordance with project plans and specifications
• Review and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and technical documents
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues and discrepancies
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards
• Assist in planning work schedules and resource allocation
• Verify measurements, quantities, and work completion for billing purposes
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on site
• Support project managers in achieving project milestones and deadlines

• Requirements & Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction/site engineering (senior role)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent leadership and site coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in MS Office and basic construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera – preferred)
• Good communication and reporting skills
