Senior Specialist - Software Engineering

IIB Developer JD

The IIB Developer is responsible for working closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design IIB solutions that meet their needs

The IIB Developer will develop and implement message flows using IBM Integration Bus that integrate multiple applications and systems

The IIB Developer will troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development testing including preprod and implementation of IIB solutions for any defects arise

The IIB Developer will provide ongoing maintenance and support for IIB solutions ensuring that they are functioning correctly and efficiently

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of IBM Integration Bus and experience with developing and maintaining IIB solutions using REST MQ SOAP File etc

Strong knowledge on REST APIs microservices YAML JSON and WSDL

Should have good exposure to ESQL development Mapping node and core Java skills

Should have strong communication and problem solving skills and be able to work effectively with clients and stakeholders

Experience in software development system integration and IBM Integration Bus

Good to have MQ and IIB runtime components knowledge

Good to have knowledge on continuous integration and deployment through pipelines repositories knowledge GitHub SVN etc

Good to have API Connect knowledge testing tools like Postman rfhutil SOAP UI etc
