Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Requires travel to various project sites)
Experience: 2–5 years in Site Execution / Industrial Construction
Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Site Engineer to lead the on-site execution and safety management of our specialized composite projects. This role is for a proactive professional who can manage the entire lifecycle of a site—from sourcing labor and supervising FRP/GRC installations to maintaining world-class safety standards and managing logistics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Execution & Labor Management
- Supervise the installation of FRP Gratings, Facade Panels, and GRC elements.
- Labor Sourcing: Actively find, vet, and onboard reliable labor contractors for specific project sites.
- Manpower Management: Daily management of labor productivity, attendance, and onsite coordination to meet deadlines.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel to various project sites as required for execution and supervision.
2. HSE & Safety Leadership
- Safety Rounds: Conduct regular on-site safety audits and rounds to identify potential hazards.
- HSE Documentation: Maintain detailed HSE records, including accident reports, safety checklists, and permit-to-work (PTW) logs.
- On-site Compliance: Ensure all workers use appropriate PPE and follow safety protocols specific to working with composite materials (e.g., dust masks during FRP cutting).
3. Logistics, Dispatch & Billing
- Coordinate material dispatches from the factory based on real-time site needs.
- Manage GRN (Goods Received Note) processes and verify material quantity vs. DC.
- Handle the submission of Measurement Sheets (MB) and coordinate with client accounts for billing and payment follow-ups.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
- HSE Knowledge: Certification in Industrial Safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH, or ADIS) is a significant advantage.
- Core Skills: Ability to read AutoCAD drawings; strong negotiation skills for dealing with labor contractors.
- Attributes: High mobility, "safety-first" mindset, and the ability to work independently at remote sites.
Why Join ECPL?
- Exposure to niche industrial materials and high-scale construction projects.
- A role with high autonomy where you manage both the "people" and the "technical" aspects of a site.
- Competitive growth opportunities within the expanding composites industry.
