Software Developer (Oracle)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable solutions
• Support and modify legacy software applications to improve performance and functionality
• Modernize legacy applications bringing them up to current technologies
• Present materials and concepts to the team and technical leaders
• Evaluate alternatives and create technical programming specifications.
• Follow a development life cycle for new projects and enhancements
• Collaborate with internal team to develop successful solutions
• Ability to test and debug software
• Ability to meet timing and deadlines and communicate when issues arise
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and coding practices

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Database
• Experience with PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle Forms. WebLogic a plus.
• Experience with ASP or comparable web application technology
• Knowledge of Linux task scheduling using Cron and Shell Scripts
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or comparable development management technology
• Fluent in English
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
