As a Senior Performance Engineer Development you will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability reliability and high performance of enterprisegrade payment solutions You will collaborate closely with NFT team architecture and testing teams to identify performance bottlenecks and implement robust solutions This role demands a strong development background and handson expertise in modern enterprise technologies

Key Responsibilities

Analyse performance test results and optimize system

Identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks across services and infrastructure

Optimize application design and architecture for scalability and throughput

Fix performancerelated defects in code and configuration

Recommend and implement performance improvements across microservices and messaging layers

Integrate and manage performance monitoring tools and dashboards

Collaborate with performance testers and architects to design comprehensive performance test suites

Work with Product Management to define SLAs and performance goals in the product roadmap

Document performance strategies issues and resolutions for future reference

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in performance engineering

Required Skills Experience

10 years of handson development experience in enterprisegrade applications

Strong expertise in Java J2EE Microservices architecture

Proven experience with Kafka Vertx and JBOSS in highthroughput environments

Deep understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools eg JMeter Gatling JProfiler

Experience with stress endurance and chaos testing

Solid knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning including AWR report analysis

Familiarity with messaging systems like IBM MQ Active MQ and JMS preferred

Build tools Gradle Maven

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

Strong communication skills to engage with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
