Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr Delivery Lead Commercial applications to support the enhancements, and configuration activities across our Salesforce, CPQ, ServiceMax, eCommerce and integrated enterprise applications. Based in Pune, India, this role will work closely with global business and IT teams to ensure the stability, performance, and effectiveness of applications & platforms that support commercial functions.

The role will be responsible for analysing business requirements, supporting system changes, performing unit testing, and resolving incidents (during hypercare) related to Salesforce, ServiceMax, CPQ etc and other integrated business applications. This role will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, assist in project deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth business operations.

This position plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence of Commercial apps and other connected applications by supporting integration points and helping maintain alignment between system functionality and business needs.

Responsibilities

1. Program and Project Delivery Leadership

  • Lead strategic programs, upgrades, and transformation initiatives across Salesforce, ServiceMax, CPQ, and eCommerce ecosystems.
  • Manage delivery timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Oversee solution design reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
  • Drive end-to-end project lifecycle—from requirements gathering and scoping to UAT, deployment, and hypercare stabilization.

2. Service Delivery and Operations

  • Own the IT service delivery framework for commercial applications—ensuring platform stability, performance, and SLA adherence.
  • Establish and govern ITIL-based support operations, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Partner with global service delivery and vendor teams to ensure timely resolution of production issues and continuous system improvements.
  • Monitor key metrics for service reliability, adoption, and performance.

3. Application Management and Optimization

  • Oversee configurations, enhancements, and integrations across Salesforce, ServiceMax, CPQ, and related systems (e.g., SAP, MDM, Boomi).
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, preventive maintenance, and process optimization.
  • Ensure data integrity, synchronization, and reporting accuracy across integrated systems.
  • Champion platform governance, security, and compliance standards.

4. Stakeholder and Vendor Management

  • Engage with business leaders, product owners, and regional stakeholders to understand evolving needs and translate them into actionable IT deliverables.
  • Manage third-party vendors, SIs, and offshore teams for project execution, support, and innovation delivery.
  • Foster transparent communication and collaboration between IT, business, and delivery partners.

5. Governance, Risk, and Compliance

  • Follow strong project governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with corporate PMO standards.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project and operational risks.
  • Maintain documentation, audit trails, and change control processes in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

6. Leadership and Strategic Enablement

  • Lead and mentor delivery teams, instilling a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with enterprise architects to define the long-term commercial applications roadmap.
  • Influence IT strategy through insights on emerging technologies, platform capabilities, and industry best practices.
