Job summary: This position is for Sr. Manufacturing Support Specialist, who will be responsible for managing production and process for product lines. He will work on developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. He will be monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement.Core Activities:
- Manage production and manufacturing process for product lines.
- Collaborate with Operations teams to support customer Inspections.
- Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing quick resolutions
- Developing, optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality and safety.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste and increase efficiency.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive Improvements projects, Digitization & Capacity Enhancement Projects.
- Planning - Manpower, Production Plan, Shift Plan. Ensuring quality work is done in a safe & efficient manner.
- Ensure Shop floor safety, 5S & Visual Management.
- Monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing activities.
- Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Identify and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance & HSE team to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics such as Daily Production, OTTR/OFFP, cycle time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Provide training and guidance to production teams & CSW on new processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation
Qualification:BE / B. Tech in (Mechanical / Instrumentation) 5+ years of experience as a production / process engineer in a manufacturing / process automation industries. Knowledge and skills: Experience in production and process design/improvements Strong knowledge of process improvement techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysisExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream MappingEffective communication and interpersonal skills Should be able to work in Cross Functional teamShould be familiar with SAP
