Job description:

 

Job Title: Software / Firmware Engineer

 

❖ Must Have:

5+ years of project experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
Experience with execution of large upstream and downstream projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering

Programming skills: good knowledge of at least one object-oriented, high variability language, like Java (not Javascript...), Rust, Structured Text, C++ or C# with experience on at least one project (either surface equipment, downhole equipment, software tooling, cloud-based application etc)

 

❖ Good to Have:

Qt, embedded programming, Matlab, data analysis

fieldbuses e.g. CAN, Profinet, Ethernet

Some experience of controls, or automation (PLCs), or embedded programming

 

❖ Key Responsibilities:

Collect, interpret, and consolidate project cost and schedule data for business planning purposes.  Develop templates and tools for data collection and reporting.  Analyze monthly variances in business plan outlook submittals.
