Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary: The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and developing structural systems and components that meet safety, reliability, and performance standards. The role involves preparing detailed design drawings, performing structural analysis, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.

• Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review structural design drawings, layouts, and 3D models.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for steel, concrete, and composite structures.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards (IS, AISC, ASCE, etc.).
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical/electrical teams, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Prepare design documentation, BOQs, and technical reports.
• Conduct design reviews and propose cost-effective structural solutions.
• Support fabrication and site teams with technical guidance and issue resolution.
• Perform load and stress analysis using design software.
• Participate in value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
• Proficiency in software such as STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, ETABS, Tekla, Revit, or SAP2000.
• Understanding of material properties, load distribution, and design optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Qualifications: Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–6 years of experience in structural design and analysis (freshers can be considered for junior roles).
• Certifications (Preferred): Structural Engineering License, CAD/CAE certifications, or equivalent.
