JD - Application Administrator – CAD/CAE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪Installation, configuration, and support of CAD/CAE applications in Client systems.
▪Administers, maintains, and evaluates CAD/CAE and other Engineering design applications and related system management and maintenance.
▪Support and Administration of Autodesk CAD Data vaults, PLM-CAD integrations and provide functional support for CAD data migrations.
▪Troubleshoots and resolves system problems, incidents/requests, ensure SLA adherence and improve user experience and satisfaction.
▪Validate new software releases and upgrade user systems. Identifies and analyzes system and user needs, as well as hardware requirements.
▪Maintain license servers, monitor license availability, generate license utilization report, analyze and optimize license requirement.
▪Collaborate with software vendors, extended IT teams to resolve technical issues.
▪Works proactively to identify root cause and recommends/ implements preventative solutions.
▪Develops and delivers user training and presentations on new systems and upgrades.
▪Coordinates and/or performs software and operating system maintenance on CAD workstations and servers.
▪Adheres to global IT standards, policies and procedures and coordinate related activities with global IT teams.
▪Develop effective working relationships with internal and external business partners.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
▪Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical / computer science engineering or any other Engineering discipline.
▪Experience: 8+ years of overall experience in Engineering CAD/CAE Application administration and end user support in a global product design and manufacturing environment.
o 3+ years’ experience in Autodesk CAD vault system Administration.
o2+ years’ experience in Windchill-Multi CAD (Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor) interface
o5+ years’ CAD/CAE applications user support in a Global design environment
