Job Title: Procurement, Packing & Dispatch Supervisor

Location: Loni Kalbhor Shed, Pune

Working Time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Reporting To: Operations Manager / Founders

Job Purpose

To manage and supervise procurement, packing, and dispatch operations at the Loni Kalbhor shed, including direct coordination with farmers and vendors, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely dispatch of fruits and vegetables.

• Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor CoordinationCoordinate directly with farmers and vendors for daily procurement.

• Confirm quantity, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Verify incoming produce for freshness, grade, and weight.
• Handle shortages, rejections, and replacements as per SOP.

2. Inward & Storage ManagementSupervise unloading, sorting, and proper storage of produce.

• Ensure hygiene and handling standards are maintained.

3. Packing OperationsEnsure grading, sorting, and packing as per customer requirements.

• Monitor correct weights, loose/packed format, and labeling.
• Control wastage and packing material usage.

4. Dispatch CoordinationPlan and supervise vehicle loading and dispatch schedules.

• Ensure SKU-wise and quantity-wise accuracy.
• Coordinate with drivers and confirm on-time dispatch.

5. Labour SupervisionAllocate daily work to shed workers.

• Maintain attendance, discipline, and productivity.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily inward, packing, dispatch, and wastage records.

Share daily updates with management.

• Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1 year+ experience in procurement, warehouse, or fresh produce operations.
• Experience dealing directly with farmers/vendors preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit & vegetable quality standards.
• Ability to manage labour and operations independently.
• Basic smartphone and WhatsApp reporting skills.
