Job Summary

The Team Leader – Business Development will be responsible for boosting the efficiency and productivity of Sales Telecallers and Career Counsellors. The role focuses on lead nurturing, preventing lead leakage, improving call quality, and driving higher admission conversions.


Key Roles & Responsibilities·      

Manage and supervise Sales Tele callers and Career Counsellors.

·      Ensure proper lead assignment and 100% lead follow-up discipline.

·      Monitor the complete lead lifecycle from enquiry to demo walk-in and final admission.

·      Identify and prevent any form of lead leakage.

·      Listen to call recordings regularly and evaluate call quality.

·      Ensure every call communicates all USPs of Fortune Cloud Technologies effectively.

·      Provide call-wise feedback and coaching for continuous improvement.

·      Ensure counsellors follow the defined lead nurturing and counselling process.

·      Improve performance of low-performing team members through regular feedback and guidance.

·      Drive higher demo-to-admission and lead-to-admission conversion ratios.

·      Share daily, weekly, and monthly performance updates with management.

·      Keep a strong coordination with accounts team and track students fee ensuring timely fee collections as per agreed payment schedules.

·      Participate in batch-level follow-ups and in-person visits (when required) to ensure pending fees are cleared.

·      Maintain discipline in fee recovery without impacting student relationships or learning environment.


Required Experience & Skills·      

3–6 years of experience in sales or business development team handling.

·      Prior experience in EdTech, training institutes, or education sales preferred.

·      Strong understanding of lead nurturing and admission funnels.

·      Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.

·      Ability to analyze call performance and improve conversion efficiency.

·      Target-oriented and process-driven mindset.


Reporting & Accountability

The role requires close coordination with management and regular reporting on team performance, conversion metrics, lead status, and improvement areas on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
