Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and customer service, with the ability to craft high-quality beverages and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, and bubble teas, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Latte Art: Create visually appealing latte art to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the coffee station and equipment clean and organized, following health and safety guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients, and assist with restocking as needed.
• Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, including latte art.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements.

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Barista Training Certificate: Courses from recognized institutes like SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) or local barista schools.
