Provide Technology & Solutions Architecture Support to all segments of the Alliance.  Lead with Solutions,  develop and drive executable architecture to facilitate and accelerate adoption. Stabilize and improve reliability of existing Cloud implementations. 

What you’ll do

• Contribute and support architecting, designing and implementing solutions in GCP/AWS leveraging Cloud Native capabilities.

• Develop Executable Architecture with patterns and reference implementations

• Help drive Business Process Automation leveraging API 

• Stabilize existing implementations by identifying gaps Observability, Monitoring, Alerting, Capacity Planning and Configuration Management and driving operational excellence through Automation 

• Maintain architecture deliverables necessary to illustrate system behavior, including usage models, and cost of ownership models and failure analysis model

• Ensure that the solution is aligned with the technology strategy, uses standard solution building blocks and can be built and operated in an efficient manner aligned with economic value of the project

• Enable new Cloud Services for Equifax by developing baseline configurations that meet Equifax Security and Compliance requirements. 

What experience you need

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required

• 5+ years of experience developing software in the public cloud, including 5+ years overall relevant experience.

• Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives.

• Experience in one or more languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript and/or node.js

• Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases

• Partner with Engineering, and SREs to analyze any outages or resiliency issues and provide remediation steps

• Familiarity with microservice best practices and design patterns

• Familiarity with event driven architecture and immutable data management patterns (CQRS)

• Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

• Application Development/Programming - Experience working with software design, programming languages (preferably Python, Java, Javascript) and solution architecture

• Cloud Services (AWS/GCP) - Managing GCP/AWS services in a particular product or platform.

• DevSecOps - Need to have a strong understanding of both security and DevOps principles.

• Technical Communication/Presentation - Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor to specific audiences.

• Technology Advising/Consulting - Understand business goals and how to use technology to achieve them. Understand the IT environment and the challenges the unit is facing.

• Ability to Learn and lead with solutions.
