The telesales is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about programs and courses, and helping applicants make informed academic decisions. The role involves handling inquiries, conducting counselling sessions, managing application documentation, and meeting admissions targets through effective communication and follow-ups.


Key Responsibilities :


  • Handle inbound and outbound inquiries from prospective students via calls, emails, chats, and walk-ins.
  • Provide detailed information about courses, eligibility criteria, fee structures, career prospects, and admission procedures.
  • Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to understand the aspirations of students and guide them toward suitable programs.
  • Maintain proper records of leads and follow-ups.
  • Assist students with the application process, documentation, entrance tests, interviews, and enrollment formalities.
  • Participate in admission events, education fairs, school/college visits, and promotional activities.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly admission and enrollment targets.
  • Coordinate with the academic, marketing, and administrative departments for smooth operations.
  • Handle student queries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in any field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in counselling, sales, or customer service (freshers with strong communication skills can also apply).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasion and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work under target-driven environments.
  • Knowledge of education programs, admission processes, and career counselling (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Preferred AttributesPositive attitude and student-centric approach.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Work EnvironmentOffice-based role with occasional travel for events or outreach activities.
