Job Description: Territory Sales Executive (Innerwear & Casualwear Distributor) – Pune City
Position: Territory Sales Executive
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Industry: Innerwear & Casualwear
Reports to: Sales Manager
Job Summary:
As a Territory Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales for innerwear and casualwear within the Pune region. This includes developing relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors, achieving sales targets, expanding product visibility, and ensuring effective brand representation in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Generation:
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling innerwear and casualwear to retailers, wholesalers, and other distribution channels.
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the territory.
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.
2. Market Development:
Expand the market by onboarding new retailers and wholesalers.
Maximize product penetration and visibility in key markets across Pune city.
Proactively address and resolve any customer issues or concerns regarding products and services.
3. Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and stakeholders in the territory.
Act as the point of contact for customer feedback, ensuring excellent service and prompt response to queries.
4. Brand Promotion & Merchandising:
Ensure that the brand’s innerwear and casualwear products are displayed prominently and attractively in stores.
Collaborate with retailers on marketing initiatives, in-store promotions, and brand activations.
5. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
Keep track of market trends, competitor products, pricing strategies, and new launches in the innerwear and casualwear segment.
Provide market insights to the Sales Manager to assist in strategic planning.
6. Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and product performance in the territory.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and any other relevant data to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of sales experience in the retail or FMCG sector, preferably in innerwear, casualwear, or apparel.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good understanding of the Pune retail market.
Self-motivated and target-driven.
Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language: Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel extensively within Pune city.
Strong knowledge of the apparel distribution channel and local market trends.
