Transport Driver

We are seeking a reliable and responsible LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) Transport Driver to deliver supplies to restaurants and catering businesses. The role involves timely and safe transportation of goods, maintaining vehicle condition, and ensuring excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a light motor vehicle to deliver food supplies and related goods to restaurants, caterers, and other clients
• Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries
• Verify delivery details such as invoices, quantities, and addresses
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer acknowledgments
• Ensure proper handling of perishable or fragile items
• Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, cleanliness) before and after trips
• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or delivery discrepancies promptly
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards

Requirements

Valid LMV driving license (transport badge preferred if applicable)

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
• Good knowledge of local routes and areas
• Ability to handle loading/unloading of goods
• Basic understanding of delivery documentation (invoices, challans)
• Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights
• Punctual, honest, and responsible
