Mechanic – Job Description

A Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to service standards.

• Key Responsibilities:Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake service, and tune-ups.
• Diagnose faults using tools, equipment, and diagnostic scanners.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow job card instructions and complete work within given timelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Use tools and equipment properly and report any damage.
• Update Service Advisor on job status and additional repair needs.
• Follow company and OEM service standards
