UPS Service Engineer

We are looking for a UPS Service Engineer responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. The role involves on-site service support, fault diagnosis, and ensuring high system availability for customers.

• Key Responsibilities:Install, commission, and maintain UPS systems (single-phase and three-phase)
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules
• Diagnose and troubleshoot UPS, battery banks, power modules, and control circuits
• Replace faulty components (PCBs, IGBTs, capacitors, fans, batteries, etc.)
• Conduct load tests, battery tests, and system health checks
• Provide on-site and emergency breakdown support
• Maintain service reports, checklists, and documentation
• Coordinate with customers to explain issues and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Support AMC/CMC contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Required Skills & Knowledge: Strong knowledge of UPS systems (Online, Line-interactive, Modular UPS)
• Understanding of power electronics, inverters, rectifiers, and batteries (SMF, Li-ion)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of networking/monitoring systems (SNMP, alarms)
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Relevant UPS service or power electronics experience preferred
• Willingness to travel and work on-site
