Job Description – Vendor Development Officer

• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors for mechanical, electrical, and fabricated components

• Manage supplier sourcing, onboarding, and long-term relationship development

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost efficiency

• Conduct supplier audits, performance reviews, and capacity assessments

• Coordinate with R&D, production, and quality teams for material approval and vendor alignment

• Ensure vendor compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines

• Drive vendor improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

• Maintain a strong and reliable supplier base to ensure supply chain stability

• Analyze procurement and sourcing data to support strategic decisions
