Inviting applications for the role of Vice President, Order to Cash Lead!
In this role, the incumbent will work closely with senior leaders across the business to establish a leadership development strategy and deliver ‘outstanding’ learning experiences for leaders globally. The role involves leading a large team in Order to Cash work type and ensuring consistent service delivery and improvements over time. The incumbent will have to work an evening shift.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with client’s senior stakeholders and service lines to develop and execute the order to cash & order management, and operational plans with OTC being the prime focus area
• Lead global operations to achieve/exceed P&L
• Lead and initiate discussions with the client-side and highlight key focus areas and bring in traction to support operations, CI initiatives and ensure implementation
• Implement appropriate mechanisms to identify, understand and call out performance gaps and/or performance breakthroughs in operations. Develop and implement improvement plans to close performance gaps.
• Drive continuous improvement within operational processes, look for opportunities to improve the current cost base
• Be a senior escalation point for resolving customer & internal issues. Handle escalations confidently, identify key risks, and agree/implement mitigation plans to ensure repeat complaints are eliminated
• Maintain & grow excellent customer relations – focus on improving NPS. Take personal ownership for actions plans that may arise from time to time for the
• Work with the client to understand key requirements and translate them into delivery plans capable of being executed effectively by Genpact to agreed timescales
• Work with global client retained organization to assist with communication of key process changes to drive program adoption within client teams
• Working with the retained team to identify transformation and productivity opportunities, and interfacing back to the Delivery Centers (and vice versa)
• Responsible for monitoring process of savings targets, timely deliveries, agreed sourcing projects
• Collaborate for the new deal process including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition, and stabilization
• Chip into the organization’s thought leadership as a subject matter authority on global trends around risks in the digital and technology environment and represent the practice in industry forums
• Manage, govern, and help grow the delivery mandate with a global team
• Manage multiple senior stakeholders with the customer as well as internally with Genpact viz. Heads of Internal Control, Internal Audit, Compliance, etc.
• Review quality of deliverables, work papers, audit/ assessment reports. Managing customer relationships and key client partners
• Manage, train, motivate and coach team members.
• Developing work programs and methodologies to build specific proficiency and improve the value proposition
• Ensure that the objective in Operations deals is fully met and value realized by the customer
• Ensure revenue is earned as per the terms and conditions of the engagement you would be involved in
• Good project & time management skills – ability to balance multiple priorities, prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Good handle on engagement planning, management, client report review, and delivering client presentations
• Transformation mindset and knowledge of alternate commercial models to be able to drive impact and value
• Have a growth mindset to identify mining / transformation opportunities and capitalize on those by partnering with the relevant stakeholders
• Managing global operations, Driving & delivering transformation, Excellent communication, Managed and interacted with CFOs and GBS heads, already running large teams & in similar roles
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• CA/ CPA/ CMA/MBA or relevant accounting / audit degree / bachelor's degree / master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business from a reputed university
• Subject matter expert in O2C / OTC operations – the ability to coach & mentor team members across all delivery centers
• Handled a team of 100+ employees. Working experience in the international market space
• Outstanding negotiation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvement
• Commercially savvy seeks to provide win-win solutions for the Client and Genpact
• Measurable experience in leading and growing profitable satisfied accounts and/or meaningful business management experience
• Ability to lead a large team across multiple locations & be able to assimilate & encourage cultural diversity
• Proven listening and customer service skills. Influencing skills, creative thinking/innovative mindset
• Effective mentoring and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively lead group and interpersonal conflict situations
• Experience in consumer /retail industry / Preferable experience from BPO industry
• Need experience of leading transformation projects
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Ability to work in matrix reporting relationships and global environment, with strong enough communication skills to influence multiple internal stakeholders
• Prior experience with the CPG industry would be preferred
• Detailed knowledge of Internal Controls, Risks, Internal audit, and other Risk Advisory domain elements.
• Business development acumen. Handled big teams and compels global engagements
• Possess a high standard of integrity and confidentiality
• Good written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations
• Excellent planning and organization skills. Meaningful experience in consulting space
• A ‘go-getter’ attitude Customer expectation may remain at high level many times – yet contextual proposals and domain-led storyline are needed and make the real difference to customer pursuits. So, a big plus will be the candidate’s resourcefulness and ability to build/find newer ways of making things happen while demonstrating all the available knowledge resources efficiently
