Video Editor

About the Role: ViaCareers is looking for a creative beast who loves storytelling, trends, and clean visuals. You’ll own the full cycle — from raw footage to final edits, thumbnails, reels, and social posts. If you live on YouTube, Insta, and Shorts — this is your playground.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (educational, interviews, tutorials, explainers)

• Create YouTube thumbnails that actually get clicks

• Edit short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok style)

• Design static + carousel posts for social platforms

• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and memes where needed

• Repurpose long content into multiple micro-content pieces

• Maintain consistent brand style across all creatives

• Work closely with the team on concepts, hooks, and storytelling

• Stay updated with trends, editing styles, fonts, memes, and formats

• Manage project files, backups, and versioning neatly

Tools — Must Have (Hands-on)

Video Editing

• Adobe Premiere Pro (Colour grading + Audio correction)

• Adobe After Effects (basic–intermediate motion graphics)

• DaVinci Resolve (Colour grading + Audio correction)

Design
