Job Summary

The Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving guests efficiently, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests politely.

Present menus and explain food and beverage items to customers.

Take accurate food and drink orders.

Serve food and beverages promptly.

Ensure tables are clean, set, and well-maintained.

Handle customer requests and complaints professionally.

Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service.

Clear tables and assist with billing if required.

Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Maintain cleanliness of the dining area.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Waiter or Steward preferred.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and service etiquette.

Ability to stand for long hours and work in shifts.

Neat appearance and positive attitude.

Team player with a service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

Experience in hotels, restaurants, or cafés.

Knowledge of POS billing systems.

Ability to handle busy service hours.
