Position Summary: The Hostel Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a hostel. This includes managing guest services, staff, and facilities, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and achieving business targets. The role requires a high level of organizational skills, customer service expertise, and leadership abilities.

Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day hostel operations, ensuring smooth guest check-ins, room assignments, and check-outs.
• Monitor and manage hostel supplies (e.g., linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies).
• Ensure that the hostel maintains cleanliness and is in good repair.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed, working with external vendors when necessary.

Financial Management:

• Manage hostel budgets, including monitoring expenses and revenue.
• Optimize occupancy rates and ensure profitability by managing pricing, promotions, and seasonal offers.
• Monitor and approve purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Prepare financial reports, track expenses, and forecast future financial performance.
