Job Title: Welder

Messe Global Convention Centre is seeking a skilled Welder to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is responsible for performing welding, metal fabrication, and structural repairs throughout the venue. The ideal candidate will support both routine maintenance and event-specific needs, ensuring infrastructure, staging, rigging, and custom fabrication meet safety and functional standards for a wide variety of events.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) required.
• 3+ years of experience as a welder in a commercial, industrial, or event environment.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Experience with cutting tools, grinders, plasma cutters, and fabrication equipment.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.

Office Timing: Monday - Sunday 10.00 am to 7.00 pm
