Key Responsibilities 

Data Quality and Governance 

• Analyze and resolve data quality issues within the Investment Management (IM) Data Architecture. 
• Collaborate with data owners and cross-functional teams to identify root causes of data discrepancies and implement corrective actions. 
• Define and implement data quality (DQ) rules in partnership with IT and data owners, ensuring robust DQ controls. 

Data Integration and Management 

• Oversee the onboarding of data from internal and external sources into centralized repositories. 
• Perform data lineage tracing and analysis to ensure data accuracy and reliability. 
• Support the implementation of data governance frameworks for strategic projects. 

Stakeholder Engagement and Process Improvement 

• Engage with global business stakeholders to prioritize and address data-related needs. 
• Document business requirements, use cases, and workflows for data-centric projects. 
• Conduct end-to-end analyses of business processes and data flows to identify opportunities for re-engineering and productivity improvements. 

Project Leadership and Support 

• Lead and drive multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. 
• Manage change control processes and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new implementations. 
• Escalate critical issues proactively and provide support for broader DAG initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced certifications in data analytics, governance, or related fields are advantageous. 
• Strong understanding of investment banking data and financial services operations. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, analytics, or governance within financial services. 
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and profiling is mandatory. 
• Knowledge of Python is a plus. 
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred. 

Reporting Structure 

• Reports locally to the Head of the India DAG. 
• Collaborates with global stakeholders on data and analytics initiatives.
