Collections Executive

Role Overview

The Collection Executive is responsible for outbound/inbound collection activities, follow-up with customers for overdue payments, resolving queries, and ensuring timely recovery as per regulatory and organizational guidelines. The role requires strong communication skills, customer handling ability, and adherence to RBI & DRA compliance norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound collection calls to customers for overdue EMI or outstanding payments.
• Follow DRA and RBI guidelines for customer communication and debt recovery practices.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlement options where applicable.
• Maintain detailed records of calls, follow-ups, and customer commitments.
• Coordinate with field collection teams for address verification and field visits.
• Update system remarks accurately after each interaction.
• Achieve monthly recovery targets as assigned.
• Escalate complex cases to seniors for further action.
• Maintain professionalism and ensure zero customer complaints.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, DRA code of conduct, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Mandatory DRA Certification (Valid Certificate Required)
• Good communication skills in Hindi, Vernacular & English
• Customer handling and objection management
• Basic computer knowledge & CRM handling
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Target-oriented and disciplined working style

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in collections/tele-calling/ recovery.
• Prior experience in banking/NBFC collections is preferred.

Salary Range

• As per industry standards and internal grade norms.
