Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

Student Guidance: Conducting counseling sessions to help students create academic, career, and personal development plans.

Academic Support: Helping students with curriculum requirements, course registration, and improving study habits.

Assessment & Monitoring: Evaluating student performance and identifying those in need of assistance to overcome academic challenges.

Collaboration: Communicating with parents, teachers, and staff regarding student progress and providing resources.

Career & College Planning: Assisting with career exploration and college application processes.

Policy Support: Providing information regarding university policies and educational standards. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, parents, and faculty.

Empathy & Patience: Ability to handle sensitive issues and support student emotional needs.

Organization: Strong record-keeping abilities.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with student information systems and Microsoft Office tools. 

Work Environment

Full-time positions often located within educational institutions, counseling centers, or remote platforms.

Work involves regular, direct interaction with students, parents, and staff.
