Office Timings:

Evening Shift: 3 PM - 12 AM

Night Shift: 10 PM - 8 AM

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Analyst based in Raipur. The Assistant Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support, conducting data analysis, monitoring market trends, and generating reports. The role involves assisting the trading team in data interpretation, contributing to strategy development, and ensuring precise and effective decision-making processes.

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Assistant Trading Analyst to support our high-speed trading desk by performing real-time calculations, monitoring trade execution data, and managing trading models in Excel. This role requires strong numerical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work accurately under time pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Develop and improve Excel models using advanced formulas, PivotTables, and macros

·        Perform high-speed calculations such as slippage, spread, and latency impact.

·        Reconcile trades and manage data flow between trading platforms and Excel reports.

·        Interface with traders to provide real-time updates on trade status and market anomalies.

·        Generate and automate end-of-day trading reports.

·        Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness during trading hours.

Required Skills:

·        Solid Math Aptitude and mental calculation ability (percentages, spreads, averages, etc.)

·        Strong knowledge of Excel functions, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX-MATCH, PivotTables & Conditional Formatting, Data Validation & Named Ranges

·        Data analysis, research, and proficiency with statistical tools

·        Understanding of financial markets and trading concepts (buy/sell, P&L, margin, tick size)

·        Ability to handle high-pressure, time-sensitive tasks accurately.

·        Strong communication and teamwork skills to work in a collaborative environment

·        Attention to detail, logical reasoning, and critical thinking abilities

·        Passion for the financial markets and a commitment to continuous learning

·        Experience with trading platforms or market analysis software is a plus

·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Math, Statistics, or related field.
