Accountant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our firm. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys maintaining organized records and ensuring financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Transactions: Accurately record all sales and purchase bills into the accounting system.

Banking: Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Cash Management: Handle petty cash, including disbursements and recording.

Data Entry: Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.

Payments: Process payment vouchers and ensure vendors are paid on time.

Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax filings (GST/VAT/Income Tax) and gather documentation for annual audits.

Requirements

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (Debits/Credits).

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho) and MS Excel.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Previous experience in a similar role within a small office environment is preferred.
