Roles and Responsibilities:

The Associate Manager - Inplant Fuel Management will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing strategies to optimize fuel sourcing, procurement, and utilization within the plant
• Monitoring fuel inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
• Analyzing fuel consumption data and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline fuel management processes
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards related to fuel handling
• Preparing reports and presentations on fuel management performance for management review
• Participating in budget planning and cost control activities related to fuel management
• Training and mentoring junior staff members in fuel management best practices
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in fuel management

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Expertise in fuel sourcing, procurement, and management
• Knowledge of thermal power generation processes and equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (required)
• Master's degree in Energy Management or equivalent (preferred)
