Biomedical Engineer – Laboratory Projects

📍 Location: Chhattisgarh Region (Raipur / Bilaspur / Bastar / Ambikapur) – Field travel required

Roles & Responsibilities

Install, test, and commission laboratory and diagnostic equipment at project sites.

Ensure equipment installation follows manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers during equipment delivery and installation.

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.

Maintain service logs, calibration records, and preventive maintenance documentation.

Provide on-site technical support to laboratory technicians and staff.

Conduct basic user training on equipment operation, handling, and safety procedures.

Assist in the implementation of new diagnostic technologies and equipment upgrades.

Ensure compliance with biomedical safety standards, NABL/ISO requirements, and biosafety guidelines.

Support internal and external audits, inspections, and quality assessments.

Ensure proper electrical safety, equipment calibration, and validation procedures are followed.

Coordinate with Lab Coordinators, Project Managers, and district health officials for smooth project execution.

Liaise with OEMs and service providers for warranty services and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).

Prepare and submit regular equipment status reports and maintenance updates.
