Job Summary

The Laundry Assistant is responsible for picking up and delivering laundry orders from clients’ locations, operating laundry machines, and maintaining billing and order records to ensure smooth laundry operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Pick up laundry orders from clients’ homes or offices.

Deliver cleaned and processed laundry to clients on time.

Operate laundry machines such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.

Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold clothes as per instructions.

Maintain billing records, invoices, and order details.

Collect payments and provide receipts if required.

Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of machines.

Handle clothes carefully to avoid damage or loss.

Follow safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Coordinate with clients and laundry staff for smooth operations.

Requirements

Basic education; 10th pass preferred.

Experience in laundry or delivery work is an advantage.

Ability to operate washing machines and ironing equipment.

Valid two-wheeler license preferred (for pickup & delivery).

Physically fit and able to handle laundry loads.

Basic understanding of billing and record-keeping.

Good customer-handling skills.

Basic computer or billing app knowledge.

Time management and reliability.
