Job Description
The Business Development Executive (BDE) - Surgery is an execution-focused, field-based role responsible for the rapid on-ground expansion of the surgical referral network. The BDE will work directly under the Business Development Manager to acquire new, smaller channel partners, ensure smooth patient onboarding, and manage daily field sales activities to achieve monthly case volume targets. This role requires excellent relationship-building skills, high energy, and a commitment to meticulous execution within the surgical patient journey.
Core ResponsibilitiesI. Field Acquisition & Partner Onboarding
Partner Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and execute agreements with individual doctors, small clinics, medical centers, and collection centers to join the surgical referral network.
Surgeon Outreach Support: Assist the BDM in setting up and facilitating initial meetings with key specialist surgeons and hospital administrators.
Channel Activation: Ensure newly onboarded partners are fully trained on the company’s referral process, digital platform use, and service offering.
II. Sales Execution & Patient Flow Management
Target Execution: Achieve daily and weekly execution targets related to new partner sign-ups and referral lead volume to support the overall regional surgical case goals.
Patient Onboarding: Act as the primary point of contact for new patient referrals, guiding them through the initial stages of registration and connecting them with the appropriate internal coordination teams.
Service Communication: Clearly and accurately communicate the company's value proposition, coordination benefits, and post-operative support to potential partners and patients.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all required documentation for new partners and patient referrals is collected, verified, and accurately logged into the digital platform in compliance with company standards.
III. Reporting & Market Feedback
Daily Reporting: Submit detailed daily reports on field activity, partner visits, prospect status, and lead generation volumes to the BDM.
Market Intelligence: Collect and report on essential local market information, including competitor activities, pricing trends, and partner feedback from the field.
Feedback Loop: Communicate partner or patient challenges quickly to the BDM and Operations team to ensure rapid resolution and continuous service improvement.
