Lead - Buyer

Responsibilities

1.  Strategic :
   1. Enhancing Vendor Database for Electrical/ C&I items
   2. Item identification for Annual Rate Contract for Electrical/ C&I
   3. Indigenisation development of spares for Electrical/ C&I by way of reverse engineering or by Chinese replacement by equivalent Indian or imported other than china make
   4. Building seamless and cordial relationship with internal & external customers to ensure achievement of desired business outcomes
   5. Achieve optimum cost for Mechanical items through manual negotiation e-platform like reverse auction & forward auction

1. Operational
   1. Floating enquiries, follow-up with Vendors & receipt of offers, preparation of Price Comparative Statement. Preparation of internal documents for approval like NFAs, Change Order Proposal, etc.
   2. Issuance of Order within Scheduled time for Mechanical items.
   3. Follow-up for timely delivery of Electrical/ C&I items.
   4. Seamless communication with internal / external  Customers for smooth operation of plant
   5. Compliance to various standards IMS(ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001), EnMS, 5S
   6. Digitization of documents
   7. Resolve commercial issues, if any.

   1. Support in negotiation and achieve optimum cost for Electrical/ C&I items
   2. MIS Preparation

   1. Attending Technical & Behavioural trainings

1. Health & Safety
   1. Compliance to CHETNA guidelines
   2. Implementation of Contract Health & Safety Management while awarding order

Qualifications

BE / B.Tech (Electrical and C&I)
