• Lead the end-to-end land acquisition process, including identification, negotiation, and finalization of land deals for thermal power projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess land suitability based on project requirements and environmental considerations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, local authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth acquisition processes.
• Conduct due diligence on land titles, legal documentation, and ownership records to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with survey teams to validate land boundaries and ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Manage financial aspects of land acquisition, including budgeting, cost estimation, and payment processing.
• Monitor and address community concerns related to land acquisition, ensuring alignment with Adani’s commitment to social responsibility.
• Provide regular updates to the Land Head on acquisition progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
• Support the business unit’s operational goals by ensuring timely availability of land resources for project execution.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms for land management, documentation, and reporting.

• Proven expertise in land acquisition processes, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in dealing with local authorities, landowners, and community representatives.
• In-depth knowledge of land laws, regulations, and documentation processes in India.
