Senior Accountant

Job description:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Handle internal audits and assist external auditors during audit processes.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and forecasts.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data collection and reporting.
• Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance as needed.
