Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Accountant to lead the accounting department, manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate financial records. The role involves supervising accounting staff, preparing financial reports, handling audits, and supporting management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the accounts and finance team

Maintain books of accounts and financial records

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations

Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory filings

Coordinate internal and external audits

Monitor cash flow, payments, and receivables

Oversee payroll processing

Manage bank reconciliation and fund management

Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping

Support management with financial reports and analysis

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

CA / CMA / MBA Finance (preferred)

Proven experience as Head Accountant / Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards

Expertise in taxation, compliance, and statutory laws

Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Leadership and team management ability
