JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR VIDEO EDITOR a. Job Title: Video Editor b. Department: Post-Production Department c. Hierarchy Level: Middle Management d. Gender Preference: No Preference – merit-based e. Age Preference: 22+ Years f. Pay Structure: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month + Project Incentives g. Reporting to: Post-Production Head / CEO JOB BRIEF To edit and enhance raw video footage into high-quality, visually appealing, and emotionally engaging final outputs that meet the creative vision of the company and client expectations. The Video Editor will work closely with the production team, directors, and clients to ensure storytelling excellence, brand consistency, and timely delivery. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY 1. Import, organize, and manage raw footage from multiple cameras. 2. Edit videos for weddings, pre-weddings, maternity, baby shoots, commercials, and other events. 3. Add visual effects, transitions, titles, and motion graphics as required. 4. Synchronize audio with video and perform sound enhancements. 5. Apply color correction and grading for visual consistency and mood. 6. Coordinate with cinematographers and clients to understand vision and feedback. 7. Ensure timely delivery of projects as per the committed timeline. 8. Maintain backup and archive of all edited projects. 9. Keep up-to-date with editing trends, styles, and software updates. 10. Maintain confidentiality of client content.

EDUCATION a. Minimum Education: Graduate in any discipline. b. Technical Education: Diploma/Certification in Video Editing, Multimedia, or related field preferred. EXPERIENCE a. Minimum Experience in Video Editing: 3 years. b. Minimum Experience in Professional Software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent. BEHAVIOURAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS a. Strong sense of storytelling and pacing. b. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing tools. c. Good understanding of cinematography, framing, and visual aesthetics. d. Knowledge of color correction and sound mixing. e. Creativity in editing styles and effects. f. Patience and ability to work under tight deadlines. g. Strong communication skills for team and client coordination. h. Ability to take feedback positively and implement changes quickly.
