Software Test Engineer – Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, TestNG, or Cypress
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks
• Perform API testing, regression testing, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers and QA team to identify test scenarios and ensure coverage
• Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
• Ensure continuous integration and delivery using tools like Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines

✅ Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools
• Knowledge of Java/Python/JavaScript for scripting
• Experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
