Job Description

Job Title: Team Leader – B2B Sales (IndiaMART)

Job Summary

The Team Leader – B2B Sales is responsible for managing and guiding a team of sales executives to drive business growth through the IndiaMART platform. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, improving team performance, building strong client relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of B2B sales executives
  • Assign and track daily/weekly sales targets
  • Monitor lead allocation and follow-ups generated through IndiaMART
  • Ensure timely conversion of leads into successful sales
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews
  • Handle key or escalated client accounts when required
  • Maintain accurate sales reports and MIS
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and service delivery
  • Analyze sales data to improve conversion rates and productivity
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Good understanding of B2B sales and online marketplaces (IndiaMART preferred)
  • Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
  • Ability to analyze performance data and coach team members
  • Customer-focused approach

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Team Leader or Senior Sales Executive
  • Experience working with IndiaMART or similar B2B platforms is an advantage
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
