Job Description
Job Summary : The Accounts Assistant supports the finance department by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end and year-end processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and basic accounting knowledge.
- Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and data entry
- Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and expense claims
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and post journals (accruals, prepayments, adjustments)
- Support payroll processing (if required)
- Assist with VAT/tax returns and compliance
- Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- File and organize financial documents
- Respond to internal and external finance-related queries
