• Position: Architect

• Location: Door Step Interiors, Silhar Arc, Nirmala Convent Road, Opp. Fire Station, Rajkot-360005

• Experience: Minimum 5-25 Years

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Office timing: Monday to Friday - 09:30 am to 6:30 pm (lunch break from1:30 pm to 2:30pm)

Saturday - 9:30 am to 2:00 pm (Half Day)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Architect to join and lead our design team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing complex projects from initial concept through final completion. This role is a key leadership position that requires a strong blend of advanced technical skills, exceptional design sensibility, and the ability to mentor and guide other team members. The Senior Architect will be responsible for ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead and oversee all phases of architectural projects, from conceptual design and schematic drawings to detailed construction documents and administration.

• Design & Development: Conceptualize, develop, and refine architectural designs that align with client requirements, while pushing creative boundaries and incorporating innovative and sustainable solutions.

• Technical Oversight: Provide advanced technical guidance and quality control for all project deliverables, including construction drawings, specifications, and building codes. Conduct comprehensive reviews to ensure accuracy and constructability.

• Client Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, present designs with clarity and professionalism, and manage client expectations and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.

• Team Management: Mentor, supervise, and lead a team of architects, junior architects, and drafters. Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

• Collaboration & Coordination: Act as the lead coordinator for all external consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, etc.) and the in-house interior design team to ensure seamless project integration.

• Site Supervision: Conduct regular and thorough site visits to track progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure strict adherence to design intent, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Research & Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies (BIM, parametric design), materials, and construction techniques to continually improve our design and delivery processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Diploma IN INTERIOR DESIGN OR ARCHITECTURE OR CIVIL ENGINEERING

• Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in architectural design, project management, and team leadership. A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of successful projects is essential.

• Software Proficiency:

•  Mandatory: AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Proficiency in a rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray).
• Preferred: Expertise in Revit (BIM) and Rhino/Grasshopper (Parametric Design).

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of local and national building codes, zoning laws, construction techniques, and materials.

• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects, timelines, and budgets efficiently and effectively.
