Job Title: SolidWorks Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Designer to create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and product designs using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop innovative, functional, and manufacturable designs while ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.

Develop 2D manufacturing drawings with proper GD&T and tolerances.

Modify existing CAD models and drawings based on engineering changes.

Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize designs.

Perform design validation and feasibility checks.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for assemblies.

Maintain design documentation and version control.

Support prototype development and testing.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards and manufacturing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2–5 years experience working with SolidWorks.

Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, assemblies, and sheet metal design.

Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, molding, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.
