Job Description

  • Job Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and develop CNC programs for VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) machines.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models for machining operations.
  • Select appropriate tools, cutters, and fixtures for machining processes.
  • Set up VMC machines with correct offsets, fixtures, and tool parameters.
  • Optimize machining cycles for productivity, accuracy, and tool life.
  • Conduct trial runs, check first piece inspection, and ensure production quality.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary program/tool adjustments.
  • Maintain machine parameters, tool data, and programming records.
  • Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure machine maintenance, safety, and housekeeping standards.



  • Required Skills:


  • Hands-on experience in VMC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas / Mitsubishi controller knowledge).
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (MasterCAM, NX, SolidCAM, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting speeds, feeds, and tool selection.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T symbols.
  • Problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SPC, quality inspection tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM basics).
