Job Description: Smart Metering Installation Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and certified Electrician to join our field team. The primary responsibility will be to exchange traditional electric meters with new smart meters and ensure their proper functionality and communication with the central data network. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical knowledge, an eye for detail, and excellent customer interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Installation & Commissioning: Safely remove old/conventional meters and install single-phase or multi-phase smart meters in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.

Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct accurate testing and verification of meters post-installation. Diagnose and resolve any technical, wiring, or communication faults that may arise during or after the installation process.

·      Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines, company policies, and relevant electrical regulations (e.g., Permit to Work systems).

Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys to ensure readiness for installation and plan the execution of projects in assigned areas
