IT & ELV Project Engineer

Key Result Areas (KRA)

1. Project Execution & Delivery ( PAN INDIA ) • Execute IT & ELV projects as per approved scope, drawings, and timelines. • Ensure quality installation of structured cabling, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, Networking, and AV systems. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project delivery. • Achieve on-time project completion with zero or minimal rework.

2. Site Management • Supervise site engineers, technicians, and contractors. • Ensure material availability, proper storage, and usage control. • Maintain daily site progress reports and attendance records. • Enforce safety and compliance standards at site.

3. Technical Implementation • Interpret BOQ, drawings, and technical specifications accurately. • Perform testing, commissioning, and handover documentation. • Resolve technical issues at site efficiently. • Support integration between IT and ELV systems.

4. Quality & Compliance • Ensure execution as per industry standards and company SOPs. • Follow client quality checklists and inspection procedures. • Maintain proper labeling, termination, and documentation standards. • Support internal and external audits.

5. Documentation & Reporting • Prepare and maintain: o As-built drawings o Test reports o Material reconciliation o Handover documents o Daily/weekly progress reports

6. Cost & Resource Control • Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage. • Support project manager in cost control and variation management. • Avoid rework through proper planning and execution.

7. Client Coordination • Act as single point of contact for technical clarifications at site. • Attend client meetings and inspections. • Ensure client satisfaction through professional communication.

8. Team Coordination • Train and guide junior engineers and technicians. • Maintain discipline and productivity at site. • Encourage teamwork and knowledge sharing.

9. Compliance & Ethics • Follow company policies, confidentiality, and professional conduct. • Ensure no violation of client or company standards. • Maintain integrity in documentation and reporting.

10. Continuous Improvement • Upgrade technical knowledge in IT & ELV technologies. • Suggest process improvements for better efficiency. • Support company growth initiatives.
